The city of Constanta

Constanta is located in a region of Romania called Dobrogea which is the land between the Danube River to the west and Black Sea to the East. The history of the city goes back to 657 BC. Controlled by the Greek empire later by the Roman empire, then ruled by the Turks and finally it became the Constanta as we know it today, with many different ethnic groups living among them. There is still a clear Turkic influence . It is the favourite city on the Black Sea for Romanians in summer time.
